New Practice Guide: Hand-Under-Hand Technique
NCDB is pleased to announce the publication of Hand-Under-Hand Technique. This is the latest in a series of NCDB practice guides, which outline essential components of instructional practices commonly used with children who are deaf-blind. The hands of a child who is deaf-blind often serve as their eyes and ears. Practitioners and others who work with children who are deaf-blind need to know how to use their own hands to respectfully communicate as well as guide and support a child’s tactile learning.
