Intervener Services and Interveners in Educational Settings: Definition

This definition was developed in response to an activity, specified in the Recommendations for Improving Intervener Services (2012), to develop and disseminate a consistently applied national definition of intervener services, including clarification of the occupational role of the intervener. 

The 2013 technical report synthesizes the process and information used by NCDB in the development of the definition. The subsequent technical report outlines changes made in 2018 and 2021.
